The popular TV programme Who Do You Think You Are? follows celebrities as they uncover their family histories and, in doing so, discover more about themselves. Something similar matters deeply for churches — remembering those who came before us and the legacy they left behind. In this series, we turn to four figures from Christ Church's own past: Jessie Challacombe, Allen Challacombe, Frank Colquhoun and Bryan Green. Through books they wrote in 1894, 1904, 1944 and 1951 respectively, we will explore what their lives and thinking still have to teach us today.
